Many Shade Sails in Brisbane have been fabricated using UV stabilized Polyester threads for their stitching. The UV protective coating on these threads which most Shade Sails installed in Brisbane have usually  only lasts 2-3 years. From this point on the stitching is degrading and eventually fails. If the Shade Sail is left then the Shade Sail material will then tear requiring the sail to be replaced.

So to answer the question whether we require a replacement Shade Sail or can we repair our Shade Sail it depends on whether the stitching has failed or whether the fabric is torn.

If the stitching has failed then, clean, re-stitch and re-fit your Shade Sail and it will be good for many years to come.
